I recently made my first MAC Cosmetics purchases and this will be a mini review + look using them.
The products I purchased
MAC Prep + Prime CC pressed powder
MAC Prep + Prime Beauty Balm
MAC Prep + Prime CC loose powder
MAC Prep + Prime CC pressed powder – the color/ shade I got was adjust, and on first application this stuff is amazing, so smooth and really does its job, sadly I am dry skinned so powder and I don’t get along, during the coarse of the day when I checked my face everything was in place but I feel like it looks cakey, and I love looking dewy, maybe I looked too close but I don’t like how it looks.
MAC Prep + Prime loose powder – the color / shade is Neutralize, and from what I seen on YouTube after I got this , it is meant to be a dupe for the Ben Nye Banana Powder, so now since I haven’t tried Ben Nye I can’t really comment on whether it is a dupe or not , but I feel so white , I know these powders are meant to highlight but I am not a fan of this at all. This being the first time I am doing it I don”t now ,I think its just not for me or I need a very deep contour to enjoy the finished look of this effect. I will however say again this powder goes on so smooth, my skin seriously feels like velvet all day.
MAC Beauty Balm – the shade I got is golden and this stuff is like a miracle on pores I intended to use it as a BB cream but I feel like it is a bit to orange for my skin tone, but I did use it as a primer and I love love love the effect it has on my pores and skin tone. I am waiting to purchase the Benefit porefessional to compare as well as smashbox because I seriously just have too much makeup to make those purchases now, but once I do I can compare them properly… For now I love this stuff and gives a subtle tan effect without me having to actually Tan my face.
This is the final look and the other products I used 🙂
