Hope your week to date has been amazing! Well I’ve realized that the mascara monday posts are all that I posted over the past few weeks, horrible I know. I mean seriously I might as well rename the blog if that’s the case right!? So I decided to tackle one brand at a time, starting with Wander Beauty. But if you wanted to see last weeks post on the Dior mascara, just click here.
So Marie Kondo has taken the world by storm it seems, but to be fair the “does it bring you joy” question has been asked by Oprah before or that was what they said in the show the middle lol.
But we aren’t here to debate that, I am however very inspired to minimize my collection. The main reason for me is storage or lack there of. And products getting lost in all that mess soooo long story shortish I am reviewing all that I can so I can decide if it brings me joy or not and whether it’s going to make it to my real collection or am I going to thank it and pass it on.
Let’s get to it then
Wander Beauty Glow Getter mist
This I purchased on boxycharm with my charms. I was planning on canceling and didn’t want to loose those and I was scrolling aimlessly through the list of products and I saw this. And since we had received the wander Beauty eye masks I figured why not plus I love setting spray ALOT.
This one needs to be shaken for sure or it’s the ombre on the bottle that’s confusing, I’m not really sure. But it certainly is glowy. Aside from the size I think it’s very comparable to the Mac fix plus with a little more dew.
But if you use powder and still want your skin to look like skin and get more dewy during the course of the day, this is definitely one to try.
So the Retail price is $28 or R396,62 on their website. But I purchased it on boxycharm so all I paid was shipping (to South Africa).
Wander Beauty Unlashed Mascara
This one is coming up in a mascara Monday so keep an eye out for that.
The wander Beauty lipstick
This is by no stretch of the imagination a long wearing formula. Also as you can see it’s a sample size and from what I understand this is typically a dual ended lipstick.
But the formula is so comfortable. If you don’t mind re-applying and you are looking for comfort it’s really awesome. I don’t have a full shade range but I really like this shade. Plus I prefer to look more natural on the daily anyway, so, for me I am usually in really natural lip colors or super bold ones. There is no real in between for me personally…
I also am not a person who carries a makeup bag and don’t touch up throughout the day, so I am not the biggest fan of regular bullet lipsticks. I like it to last forever because tbt I am lazy. and for $30 excl. shipping, I am going to buy Mac. But if you want to check it out, click here.
Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold eye masks
I’m sorry I don’t have an image for this one. I received in in one of my Allure subscription boxes. Then I thought I took some pictures but I didn’t. And then I think we got in Boxycharm and I didn’t take any pics because I thought I had some which I didn’t lol.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this 100%. It does a really good job at de-puffing and cooling the under eye area, as most masks do. On their website they claim smoother under eyes, which I didn’t find to be the case for me. But also for $25 or R354.00 you can also get a really good eye cream, just sayin.
So that’s my take on Wander Beauty or at least the stuff I’ve tried from the brand.
I have to say overall I love the brand and the ease of use, and how they are all about looking naturally beautiful. Also a lot of effortless type of products, and for day to day I think it’s pretty awesome. And if this brand was readily available here I would be all over that like white on rice, but I don’t like paying for shipping so I would just opt out for that reason alone. I don’t know of any place to purchase Wander Beauty in South Africa, but you can check out Muse Beauty. They stock a lot of international products.
Let us know if you’ve tried any of their products and what you think about it.
Have a wonderful day gorgeous! You’re worth it!
